ConnectToBrain - ERC Synergy grant project

ConnectToBrain is a project carried out in collaboration between the research groups led by Risto Ilmoniemi of Aalto University of Helsinki (Finland), Gian Luca Romani of the “G. d'Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy) and Ulf Ziemann of the University of Tübingen (Germany).

The aim of the project is to develop groundbreaking non-invasive brain stimulation technique, that is, feedback-controlled multilocus TMS. Succesfull realization of the new technique would have significant impact in neuroscience research and applications in therapeutical protocols.

ConnectToBrain research project is a project under the European Research Council Synergy Grants funding scheme.

Bial foundation: Grant N° 66/16. Mindfulness Meditation shapes synchronization of brain networks for effective perceptual decision making.

The aim of this research project is to understand whether and how mindfulness meditation affects
the rhythmic interplay between brain networks, with emphasis on the alpha and beta frequency
bands, for an effective perceptual decision making.

Breaking the nonuniqueness barrier in Electromagnetic Neuroimaging

BREAKBEN will achieve a revolution in neuroimaging; we aim at breaking the barrier for measurement of neuronal currents by ULF MRI (neuronal current imaging; NCI) as well as breaking the nonuniqueness barrier for magnetoencephalography (MEG) by combining it with ULF MRI and accurately presented a priori information...
